The Raro Rugby 7s tournament was held from November 2 – 4. One of the biggest International events held during the month of November. There were a total of 16 men’s teams and 4 women’s teams. The weather was typically tropical, with sunshine, rain and wind coming in from all directions throughout the tournament. This did not deter the boys from displaying some great rugby.
Teams came in from Australia and New Zealand and were lined with International Representatives, former and future All Blacks players.
2017 Cup Winners – Tupapa Maraerenga (pictured above) defeated defending 2 time champions Tabusoro, in the Cup Final.
