Every year during the month of July, the Cook Islands celebrate the national constitution week held at the National Auditorium. CITC once again was a platinum sponsor for this special occasion.
All CITC Divisions celebrated by participating in the Pe’e challenge. Caroline Crummer was in charge to lead Team Avarua along with the support of her team. 1st Place went to CITC Admin and Team CITC Avarua came second.
We based our PE`E on significant aspects such as our shop (E TOA, E TOA) where we are allocated (PAEPAE ENUAKURA) an ancient ground of our ancestors and also on how we operate within our division.
“For some of our staff, this was the first time participating in a Pe’e. We had a lot of fun showcasing and some surprised us with their hidden talent. We took a lot of pride in performing especially with our warriors (E AITO TEI KARANGA NEI)” says lead warrior, Jaemal Pakitoa.
